I was commissioned to direct a short film on the making of the Melbourne Cup. Each year a new Cup is made and a band of people work together to uphold this tradition.

This year is a different year for everyone and we needed to show a more emotive side of the People’s Cup. In doing so, recognise the characters and challenges behind the cup’s birth story. 

A story that in the face of adversity unites the Aussie nation with joy and tradition.
